Man shot in South Deering

A man was shot Thursday evening in the South Deering neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 25-year-old was arguing with two other men at 8:36 p.m. in the 10600 block of South Bensley who shot him as he tried to drive away, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a gunshot wound to the chest, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
