A 15-year-old boy was shot Thursday afternoon in the Homan Square neighborhood on the West Side.

The teenager was standing in an alley in the 3300 block of West Flournoy about 2:15 p.m. when another male walked up and opened fire, according to Chicago Police. The shooter then ran away.

The boy suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and showed up at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
