A wrong-way driver was arrested for DUI early Friday after driving at least six miles northbound in the southbound lanes of the Kennedy Expressway.

Police were called about a vehicle driving north in the inbound lanes of I-90 near Division at 2:58 a.m., according to Illinois State Police.

Troopers pulled the vehicle over near Montrose and took the driver, 23-year-old Isaiah Brooks, into custody, state police said. No crashes or injuries were reported.

Brooks, a Chicago resident, was charged with DUI and several traffic violations, state police said.
