A woman was grazed by a bullet as she rode in a vehicle in the West Garfield Park neighborhood early Saturday.

The 27-year-old was in the back seat of a vehicle traveling west in the 3900 block of West Madison about 12:30 a.m. when someone in a nearby black sedan opened fire, police said.

The woman’s left shoulder was grazed by a bullet and she refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
