A man was shot Saturday in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood in the South Side.

The 24-year-old man was walking down the street in the 8300 block of South Ada Street at 3:54 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the wrist and was taken by a friend to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where his condition stabilized, the police said.
