A 25-year-old man was shot Saturday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

He was driving in the 3600 block of West Jackson at 6:15 a.m. when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit, according to Chicago Police.

He drove himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition with a gunshot wound to the left thigh, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member and the shooting might have been gang-related.
