Police are asking for the public’s help in searching for an elderly man missing from a South Side bus station since Saturday afternoon.

James Moore, 83, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, was last seen about 4:45 p.m. at the 95th Street bus station near the Dan Ryan Expressway, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Moore is described as a 174-pound, 5-feet-9 black man with brown eyes, gray hair, a full gray beard, a medium complexion and false left eye, police said. He was wearing a blue Cubs baseball hat, a tan knee-length jacket with a hood over a gray sweater, blue jeans and white gym shoes.

Anyone with information on Moore’s whereabouts is asked to contact Area South detectives at (312) 747-8274.
