After a medical setback, Nikola Mirotic is reportedly getting back on track for a return to the Bulls. The Bulls stretch forward is getting a clearer look as to when he will be back on the court.

Mirotic initially went to the hospital to have his appendix removed. Then, a few days ago, Mirotic had his hospital stay extended for hematoma removal. Now, Mirotic is reportedly out of the hospital.

According to the report from Shams Charania, who writes for Yahoo’s The Vertical, Mirotic expects to return in a little over a week and a half. The NBA All-Star Game will be Sunday, February 14. The Bulls don’t return to the court until the following Thursday.

Mirotic has already missed four games and if this report holds true he will miss another four games. The Bulls are 2-2 since Mirotic left.

Before his surgery, Mirotic had seen his play improve after a slow start. He was even invited to participate in the NBA Rising Stars game.
