Two teen boys were found shot to death Friday night inside a vehicle in Gary, Ind.

About 8:30 p.m., an officer on patrol noticed a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Burr Street had its driver’s side door was open, according to Gary police.

Upon investigating, police found 16-year-old Kasreeyal Hester and 15-year-old Mark Skipper dead from gunshot wounds inside the vehicle, according to police and the Lake County coroner’s office. Their deaths were both ruled homicides.

Hester lived in the same block where the vehicle was found, according to the coroner’s office. Skipper lived in the 6600 block of Kentucky Avenue in Hammond, Ind.
