Man hurt in Lawndale shooting

A man was wounded in a shooting Saturday morning in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The 24-year-old man walked into Mount Sinai Hospital at 8:05 a.m. with a gunshot wound, according to Chicago Police. He told investigators he had been shot in the 1800 block of South Central Park.

He was shot in the upper right thigh and listed in good condition, police said.
