A man was wounded in a Marquette Park neighborhood shooting early Monday on the South Side.

The 34-year-old was exiting a business in the 6600 block of South Western about 1:30 a.m. when shots rang out and he was struck in the abdomen, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
