Two juveniles are facing charges after a police pursuit ended in a crash Tuesday afternoon that tied up traffic on the Eisenhower Expressway for several hours.

Chicago Police began chasing a vehicle at Western and Harrison at 4:45 p.m., according to police.

The chase ended with a crash on the Eisenhower near Kostner two minutes later after the vehicle being pursued crashed into a semi, police said. No injuries were reported.

Two juveniles were taken into custody after the crash, police said. Both are charged with misdemeanor counts of reckless conduct and criminal trespass to a vehicle.

Three of the four lanes on the outbound Eisenhower were closed in the area for about three hours after the crash.
