Man shot in Woodlawn

A man was shot Tuesday afternoon in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

The 36-year-old was shot in the stomach and leg in the 6200 block of South Evans Avenue around 3:17 p.m., police said.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available.
