DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

TUESDAY, MARCH 1, 2016

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will meet with the bipartisan leaders of the Senate and the Senate Judiciary Committee in the Oval Office to discuss the Supreme Court vacancy left by the death of Justice Scalia; the Vice President will also attend. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, Senator Chuck Grassley and Senator Patrick Leahy will attend. There will be a pool spray at the top of this meeting in the Oval Office.

In the afternoon, the President will have lunch with the Vice President in the Private Dining Room. This lunch is closed press.
