A 30-year-old man was shot Tuesday afternoon in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

He was walking in the 1200 block of South Troy about 1:30 p.m. when someone walked up and shot him in the side, according to Chicago Police.

Friends drove the man to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
