A man was shot Wednesday night in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.

The 22-year-old man was standing on a rear porch in the 600 block of East 37th Street around 9:25 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the left arm and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition, police said.
