Police are warning residents of a series of burglaries in the past month in the Bridgeport neighborhood on the South Side.

The burglaries occurred:

  • between 7 a.m. and 5:10 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 3100 block of South May Street;
  • between 10 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Feb. 25 in the 3000 block of South Lock Street;
  • between 9:45 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. March 3 in the 3300 block of South Morgan Street;

The suspect or suspects break into the residences and take items, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact Area Central Detectives at (312) 747-8382.
