Only a couple key items for Show & Go this weekend, and they–dams and Canoacopia–are related.

“DAMS IN OUR STREAMS:’’ There will be a viewing of “DamNation,’’ then a discussion led by streams biologist Steve Pescitelli, 7 p.m. tonight, Thursday, March 10 at Montgomery Village Hall. It is a free event. I am tentatively planning on going, but for the movie and to hear the discussion.

I like the synergy that CANOECOPIA starts it’s three-day run tomorrow, Friday, March 11, at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis. Click here for more information on the world’s largest paddling event.
