A 35-year-old west suburban man was charged after a long drug investigation by Glendale Heights police.

Kourtland Roberts of the 1800 block of Somerset Drive was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a weapon by a felon, and possession of ammunition without an FOID card, according to Glendale Heights police.

Investigators from the Glendale Heights, the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group, Carol Stream police and Glen Ellyn police were led to Roberts “through a lengthy narcotics investigation,” police said.

Glendale Heights officers executed a search warrant at Robert’s home Friday morning and found cocaine, money, ammunition and “items used for packaging and selling narcotics,” police said.

Roberts is being held in the DuPage County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
