A 21-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot multiple times as he stood on a street corner in Austin on Saturday, the police said.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition after the shooting in the 1200 block of North Lockwood Avenue just before 6 p.m., according to the police, who said someone walked up and shot him, the drove off.
