Teen shot in Little Village

A 17-year-old boy was shot in the knee early Saturday in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

He was standing on a sidewalk in the 2400 block of South Spaulding at 3:35 a.m. when someone in a passing car shot him in the left knee, according to Chicago Police.

The boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Investigators think the attack was gang-related.
