Man shot in Back of the Yards

A man was shot late Saturday in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

The 19-year-old was standing on the street in the 4800 block of South Bishop about 11:30 p.m. when four unknown males walked up, one of whom was armed with a gun, and shots were fired, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the back and the hand and was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
