For Chicago area folks who always have wanted to be on the long-running CBS reality show “Big Brother” — now’s your chance!

The series’ casting team will be in town in a couple of weeks, seeking potential contestants for the next season of show. According to the “Big Brother” producers, they are seeking individuals who are “unique, outgoing, intriguing and incredibly competitive,” clearly a necessary attribute as the contestants all vie for the ultimate prize of $500,000.

Potential contestants must be at least 21 years of age, and the casting team is looking for all ethnicities.

Auditions will be held at the Godfrey Hotel, 127 W. Huron (at LaSalle), from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 26.
