A 19-year-old man was shot Monday afternoon in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

He was driving south in the 800 block of South California Avenue just before 4 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right shoulder and took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
