An elderly man was robbed inside a bank in southwest suburban Tinley Park about three weeks ago.

In the afternoon of Feb. 23, the man walked into the PNC Bank, 7151 W. 159th Street in Tinley Park, when the suspect walked up to him and stole an envelope containing personal papers that he was carrying, according to a statement from Tinley Park police.

The suspect drove away in a silver, four-door vehicle that was driven by another person, police said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Tinley Park Police Department at (708) 444-5300.
