Police are warning of several apartment burglaries in the West Side Humboldt Park and West Garfield Park neighborhoods in the last month and a half.

At least one burglar breaks into apartments and takes property, according to the community alert from Area North detectives.

The burglaries happened:

  • between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Jan. 25 in the 3900 block of West Jackson;
  • at 7 p.m. on Jan. 27 in the 3800 block of West Maypole;
  • between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Jan. 31 in the 3800 block of West Maypole;
  • and at 9:25 a.m. on Feb. 23 in the 500 block of North Hamlin.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call detectives at (312) 744-8263.
