A man was shot while driving in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side Wednesday night.

The 35-year-old was driving through an alley in the 6700 block of South Artesian about 10:05 p.m. when two males in a nearby gangway shot him, police said.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with gunshot wounds to his right shoulder and left hand, police said. His condition had stabilized.
