A 17-year-old boy was shot Thursday morning in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The shooting occurred in the 12500 block of South Michigan at 7:50 a.m., police said.

The boy suffered a gunshot wound to the right foot and showed up at Roseland Hospital where his condition stabilized, police said.

Further details were not immediately available.
