Man shot in Englewood

A man was shot Thursday evening in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

The 25-year-old was found in a vehicle in the 1200 block of West 57th Street about 7 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the lower leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to in good condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
