A 20-year-old man was shot Thursday night in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

He got into an argument with a person just after 10 p.m. in the 6600 block of South Greenwood when that person pulled out a gun and shot him in the right shoulder, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to University of Chicago Medical Center and was transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the shooting was narcotics related.
