Two men were shot Thursday morning in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood.

The shooting happened in the 6600 block of South Champlain at 10:34 a.m., according to Chicago Police.

A 22-year-old man was shot multiple times in the back and taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.

A 40-year-old man was shot in the left leg and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition stabilized, police said.

Details about the circumstances of the shooting weren’t immediately available.
