A 25-year-old man was critically wounded in an Auburn Gresham shooting early Friday on the South Side.

About 1:30 a.m., he was walking in an alley in the 7600 block of South Sangamon when someone walked up and shot him in the jaw and arm, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
