Three shot in Humboldt Park

Three men were shot Friday afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened in the 3700 block of West Grenshaw at 3:12 p.m., according to Chicago Police.

A 21-year-old man was shot in the back, a 19-year-old was shot in the arm, and a 21-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the head, police said.

The victims all took themselves to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. They were not cooperating with investigators.

The worker, a 35-year-old woman, was stabbed in the neck and her wrists in the 3800 block of South Archer Avenue, police said. She was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Firefighters called to the Haley Mansion around 4 p.m. and found flames and heavy smoke coming from the attic and roof, according to fire officials. No injuries were reported but the extent of the damage was not known.
