Eight people, including five children, were injured Saturday when two cars collided just after 5:30 p.m. at California Avenue and Division Street in Humboldt Park, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

An adult was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in what fire officials described as “serious to critical” condition, and two other adults and five children were taken there or to Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center in good condition.
