A man was shot Saturday in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 32-year-old man was shot during a domestic situation in the 2800 block of West 83rd Street at 12:10 p.m., police said.

The man was shot in the right side of his abdomen and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in unknown condition, police said.

A suspect was taken into custody in connection with the shooting, but he or she was released without being charged, police said Sunday night.
