Two people were charged Tuesday with filing a false police report two months ago in southwest suburban Plano.

Michael C. Tumminaro, 59, was charged with three felony counts of disorderly conduct and filing a false police report. Shannon Marie Dwer-Ridge, 45, was charged with two felony counts of disorderly conduct and filing a false police report, according to a statement from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

On Jan. 11, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 16000 block of Galena Road in Plano for a report of a neighbor firing weapons in the direction of the person who called 911, police said.

Tumminaro and Dwer-Ridge were arrested Thursday, and both posted $7,500 bonds.
