Police are warning residents of two robberies that occurred this month on Green Line Trains between the Pulaski and Cicero stops on the West Side.

The first robbery occurred at 7:30 a.m. March 4 in the 4000 block of West Lake Street, and the second robbery occurred at 3:53 p.m. March 10 in the 4700 block of West Lake Street, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The victims were on the CTA train when the suspects approached them and demanded their jackets and cellphones, police said.

One suspect was described as a black man between 20-29 years old, standing between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot-2 and weighing 170 pounds with dreadlocks. The second suspect was described as a black man between 19-20 years old, standing 5-foot-8, weighing 160 pounds with red dreadlocks.
