An 18-year-old man was shot Tuesday morning in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened in the 8900 block of South Dauphin at 9:07 a.m., according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the head and taken to Trinity Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
