A north suburban man is facing charges after he pulled out a BB gun during an argument with a neighbor over a barking dog Monday night in Antioch, authorities said.

Scott R. Kisler, 51, was charged with aggravated assault, obstructing a peace officer and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors, according to a statement from the Lake County sheriff’s office.

During an argument with a neighbor over a barking dog in the 42900 block of North Janette Street in unincorporated Antioch about 7:15 p.m., Kisler pulled out a firearm, according to the statement.

Deputies responded and tried to make contact with Kisler at his home in the 25000 block of West 1st Street in unincorporated Antioch, but he refused to answer the door and turned all the lights off, according to the statement. After several minutes, he was arrested.

The BB gun Kisler displayed during the argument was found inside his home, according to the statement.

Kisler is being held at the Lake County Jail on a $30,000 bond. He is next scheduled to appear in court April 28.
