A man was shot Wednesday morning in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 32-year-old was driving in the 3100 block of South Kedzie about 10:15 a.m. when another vehicle pulled up alongside and someone in that vehicle fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The victim was shot in the left cheek and was involved in a minor crash after the shooting, police said. He then drove himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.

Police said the victim is a documented gang member.
