The Lake County coroner’s office is asking for the public’s help in finding the family of a 76-year-old woman from northwest Indiana.

The body of Judith Petruff, whose last known address was in the 1500 block of Roberts Avenue in Whiting, remains in the care of the coroner’s office, the agency announced Thursday.

Anyone with information about Petruff is asked to call the coroner’s office at (219) 755-3265.
