Two men are in critical condition after a shooting Friday afternoon in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The victims, both 25, were in a vehicle about 4 p.m. in the 5900 block of South Yale when another vehicle pulled up next to them and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The men were each shot multiple times and took themselves to St. Bernard Hospital, police said. They were being transferred in critical condition to Stroger Hospital.

The man was found unresponsive in an alley in the 10700 block of South Lowe Avenue, police said.
The man suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead at University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.
