A 32-year-old man was shot and wounded Friday in Riverdale on the Far South Side.

The man was walking in the 13200 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue at 10:30 p.m. when two people walked up to him and fired shots, then ran off, according to the police, who said the man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a gunshot wound to the back .
