Chicago Police are warning South Side residents of three recent carjackings in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.

Between one and two men walk up to victims and demand their property, according to the community alert from Area Central detectives.

The carjackings happened:

  • at 8:35 p.m. on March 17 in the 4900 block of South Marshfield;
  • at 1:25 a.m. on March 19 in the 5400 block of South Ashland;
  • at 6:45 a.m. on March 25 in the 5400 block of South Damen.

The suspects are described as between one and two black men, 20 to 35 years old, 5-foot-8 to 6-foot and 165 to 185 pounds, police said.
