A 29-year-old man was shot early Monday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The man was walking in the 5300 block of West Van Buren Street at 2:38 a.m. when a burgundy van pulled up and someone got out and fired shots, police said.

He suffered graze wounds to the right leg and right arm and was taken to Loretto Hospital where his condition stabilized.
