A 20-year-old man fatally stabbed another man Friday morning in west suburban River Grove.

David Quinones, 20, stabbed Sean J. Foley during a fight at 11:11 a.m. in the 2300 block of North Leyden Avenue in River Grove, according to River Grove police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Foley, also 20, was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood where he was pronounced dead at 1:20 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office. He lived in the 2400 block of Oak Street in Franklin Park. Police said he was 19.

An autopsy Saturday found that Foley died from multiple sharp force injuries, and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Quinones, of the 2500 block of Grove Street in River Grove, was charged with one count of first-degree murder and is being held on a $1 million bond, according to police and the Cook County sheriff’s office. He will next appear in court on Wednesday in Maywood.
