A 32-year-old man was shot early Monday in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood.

The man was outside in the 1200 block of North Hamlin Avenue at 2:10 a.m. when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot, Chicago Police said.

He showed up at Norwegian-American Hospital with a gunshot wound to the right thigh. He was transferred to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
