Brent Seabrook was a late scratch Tuesday night for the Blackhawks, out with an illness, according to the team. That leaves Niklas Hjalmarsson, Patrick Kane, Andrew Shaw and Trevor van Riemsdyk as the only Hawks to have played in every game this season. Seabrook played all 82 regular-season games each of the past two seasons, and missed just one game in 2013.

The defensive pairings in his absence were Duncan Keith and Hjalmarsson, Trevor van Riemsdyk with Christian Ehrhoff, and Viktor Svedberg with Michal Rozsival. Svedberg was expected to be a healthy scratch based on the morning skate, in which Seabrook participated.
