A 29-year-old man was shot Tuesday morning on the border of the Back of the Yards and Englewood neighborhoods on the South Side.

He was shot in the left leg at 11:47 a.m. in the 1000 block of West Garfield Avenue, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital and is in good condition, police said.
