Person shot in Albany Park

A person was shot early Tuesday in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The male, whose age was not known, was shot in the leg about 2:15 a.m. in the 3100 block of West Carmen, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, were his condition was stabilized, police said.

Additional information was not immediately available.
